International Day of Women in Mining

Women in the mining sector are employed in an amazing variety of roles. They can provide younger women with strong role models. At the same time, it is important to allow families, friends and stakeholders to understand women’s working conditions and to support a change in cultural perceptions of women in mining in a male-dominated industry

International Day of Women In Mining is a year-long campaign that uplifts the stories, leadership, and impact of women and their allies across the mining and natural resource sector.

Join the main event on 17 June at 2pm BST  for a two-hour online gathering that brings together women and allies from across the mining and natural resources sector. Connect, celebrate, and reflect on the impact of women in mining worldwide.
